The Scratch Film Junkies were a celluloidal quilting bee, congregating once a week in a studio in San Francisco’s Mission District to manipulate film one frame at a time and inhale solvents and paint fumes. Depending on the weather, members have included Vivian Dwyer, Kitty Hutton, Kathleen Fernald, Colleen Silva, Danielle Booth, Robbyn McGill, and Karen Decher.
